Yeah, there is always a learning curve (for the teacher!) when it comes to planning and activities and so on. An all-ages group would be *very* tough to plan for, so kudos on trying. :)Karin B (Looking for Ballast)https://www.blogger.com/profile/03592528618484082434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28609701.post-40812784654751504102010-11-02T13:17:50.775-06:002010-11-02T13:17:50.775-06:00@smashedpea--Oh, do come visit, you'd love it ...@smashedpea--Oh, do come visit, you'd love it here! ;)

@Susan--You make an excellent argument for not bothering with CDs during the storytime--it *is* nice to be able to set the tempo to something that the children can sing along to comfortably.Sarah @ Baby Bilingualhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13907207816628137938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28609701.post-82236501167579950522010-11-01T13:10:33.628-06:002010-11-01T13:10:33.628-06:00Lived, make that lived :)Lived, make that lived :)smashedpeahttp://intrepidlybilingual.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28609701.post-87990574357461924742010-11-01T13:09:04.757-06:002010-11-01T13:09:04.757-06:00Congrats!! I've found that in my little spanish class (it's for two sisters) singing songs with music doesn't really work either. They are usually too fast. So we just do a cappella and they don't care that I can't sing.

But great tips, and I'm looking forward to hearing how the next one medina familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08617441409706786400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28609701.post-71701822883056877062010-10-31T20:25:00.124-06:002010-10-31T20:25:00.124-06:00Thanks, Kerri and Lalou! Our web was really slow on the weekend and I had to wait till today for it to pick up. Congratulations! Sounds like you guys were really ambitious. But well done on getting 27 people there.
